Events, Appearances & Important Dates
Whenever we schedule a Special Event or Road Trip we'll list it here so can join us at events, or take advantage of us being in your area to set up a Workshop or Mentoring Session.
NOTE: We are keeping our travel schedule light for 2012 as there is so much work
to do here at home in building up our new facility! However, we do hope to
hit many Events this year, including Traditional Archery Rendezvous', Knap-in's
and Primitive Skills Gatherings to let as many people as possible know about
our new place, so if you know of a cool event within driving distance from
New Jersey send us the info, and if we can work it into the scheule we'll try
to make it out!

We've missed this event last couple of years, but

this event in the past and really enjoy having it as part of our regular
Summer Events "tour".
One of the largest Traditional-Only Archery events in the world, 'Denton' draws
shooters and their families from across the eastern half of the United
States, down from Canada, even from Europe. Eight courses with over 200
3-D targets spread across 700 acres, over 100 traditional archery bowyers
and suppliers, an Eagle Eye Competition and seminars on many different

Stone Tool Technology Show
Letchworth State Park
Castile, NY
August 24-26
We have been trying to get to this event for several years now, but
something always prevents us from going. But we have it on our schedule
again for this year really hope to make it this time! So long as nothing
goes awry, this will be our first year at "Letchworth",
the largest Stone Tool show in the Northeast, and we can't wait.
This one is on the calendar of just about every serious flintknapper
in the eastern U.S., and only bring as much money as you can afford to
spend because when you see all the pretty, pretty rock self-control quickly
goes straight out the window!
Set in the area of the Genesee River, take an hour to check out the fabulous
falls and the 600 foot gorge that the New York State Park website calls "the
Grand Canyon of the east".
For more information & directions, check out the New
York State Parks & Recreation website.

Brownsville, OH
August 31–September 2
The culmination of the big knap-in season in the east, plenty of knappers
go straight from the Letchworth event in New York State the previous weekend,
right on down to Flint Ridge. While we will not be attending this event ourselves
this year, we have always had a fantastic time at this event will miss seeing
old friends and making new ones this time around, and if you live in the area,
we strongly encourage you to go and check it out!
This is a fun show with plenty of rock and knapping tools, an atlatl range,
as well as suppliers for all kinds of other primitive and traditional skills. (Including
one of the finest and most reasonably priced teepee makers we've ever met,
Wendell Humphrey. If you're in the market for a teepee, this is the guy
to call!) And if you're looking for rock, stop by Craig Ratzat's tent,
cause he will hook you up! (And be sure to tell him Eddie & Julie sent you
